DESCRIPTION

  • * Be a thought partner for Head of Product, Head of Marketing, and PMM in the BU for communication strategy
  • * Give creative direction and strategy for all communications related to the BU and make sure the communication adhere to or push the Brand Identity to evolve.
  • * Coordinate with Brand Creative Director in maintaining the quality and coherence of brand identity across products
  • * Work together with Product Design Lead to make sure coherent experience within our Platform and our communication to users
  • * Represent the Design discipline and its value to non-designers within the business unit
  • * Lead, mentor, and analyze designer’s strength, weakness, and passions, in order to put them in a team where they can be optimal and productive (maximizing their skill and growth)
  • * Meet regularly with the designers in order to update various topics ranging from productivity mentoring, teamwork skill development, and processes within / outside design team
  • * Collaborate with Head of Products, Marketing, Design, and other stakeholders in order to maintain a good process between designers and their stakeholders
  • * Recruit new designers and actively participate in the hiring process
  • * Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment
  • * Ensure that work is delivered to scope, quality, time and budget

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong creative and conceptual vision for digital communication and the ability to execute high quality integrated interactive communications against strategic business objectives.
  • * Possess strong expertise in tailoring communication design
  • * Strong comprehension of information architecture and editorial disciplines and methodologies.
  • * Mastery of conceptual thinking skills, project concept creation, translating business objectives into brand communication strategy
  • * Capability to apply conceptual strategy and lead a team through brainstorming
  • * Strong leadership skills, constructive, fearless, driven, can-do attitude, strong work ethic, committed to a vision even under pressure
  • * Successful experiences working with and selling ideas to stakeholders
  • * Ability to direct creative teams including visual communication designers, copywriters, motion graphic designers, story visualizers.
  • * Strong time management and creative resource management capabilities
  • * Has demonstrated ability to direct and multi-task effectively under pressure
  • * Articulate with good negotiation skill and convincingness
  • * Capability to advocate the importance of high quality engaging brand communication across Traveloka by outlining and demonstrating its many benefits to business performance
  • * Minimum 5 years of communication design experience
  • * Minimum 2 years industry experience in a management or leadership role
